Executive Management Member
Designed for the Executive Manager who has obtained the
highest level of Culinary or FOH management in a BCA approved foodservice
and/or hospitality environment. Select
professional applicants shall be considered as determined after review and vote
by two-thirds (2/3) majority of the Board of Directors present at a meeting at
which there is a quorum.
Membership Requirements:
Six
(6) years at the Executive Management level, a minimum of thirty-five (35)
college credits, and a career biography.
Otherwise, ten (10) years (minimum) at the chef level and eighteen
(18) months at the Executive Chef level with a career biography.
Provide
career and/or business biography and company profile.
The
applicant shall demonstrate an ongoing commitment to continuing education.
The
applicant shall agree to comply with the BCA Code of Ethics and
Professional Conduct.
Membership Benefits:

to use the initials ‘BCA’ after their name and use of the BCA logo.

Professional Services Member
Designed for the Professionals who have obtained a high
level of expertise in a profession which can be utilized in the foodservice
and/or hospitality environment, in support of the BCA visions and goals as
determined after review and vote by two-thirds (2/3) majority of the Board of
Directors present at a meeting at which there is a quorum. This level shall include business owners,
regional directors, design consultants, management consultants, legal and
accounting firms, financial institutions, business services, architects,
interior designers, presidents, vice presidents, CEO’s, etc.
Membership Requirements:
Provide
career and/or business biography and company profile.
Five
(5) years minimum experience at the professional level of their trade and
expertise.
The
applicant shall demonstrate an ongoing commitment to continuing education.
The
applicant shall agree to comply with the BCA Code of Ethics and
Professional Conduct.

Chef/Manager Member
Designed for the Chef/Manager currently employed in a BCA
approved foodservice and/or hospitality environment.
Membership Requirements:
Three
(3) years at the Sous Chef or Pastry level and/or an Associate degree in
Culinary Arts in addition to having eighteen (18) months at the
Chef/Manager level.
Two
(2) letters of recommendation.
The
applicant shall demonstrate an ongoing commitment to continuing education.
The
applicant shall agree to comply with the BCA Code of Ethics and
Professional Conduct.

Currently employed in an entry-level/beginning BCA approved foodservice and/or hospitality environment in a capacity that can serve as partial qualification for more advanced membership.

approved BCA accredited institution of higher learning and enrolled in a
culinary/foodservice/hospitality related course of study.

applicant shall be a student in good standing as defined by the
applicant’s associated educational institution of higher learning.
The
applicant shall agree to comply with the BCA Code of Ethics and
Professional Conduct.
