What is MEBC?

Food is more than what we eat. It's how we connect.

MEBC brings people together around food as a pathway to health, knowledge, culture, and community. The program combines mindful eating, nutritional literacy, culinary education, food culture, and community engagement to help participants make informed choices while strengthening their relationship with food.

Why This Work Matters

Food access is only part of the solution.

Many communities face barriers to nutritious food, including affordability, availability, limited food education, and disconnection from traditional food practices. MEBC addresses these challenges by helping communities build practical knowledge and confidence around food.
