Bren Smith
A lifelong commercial fisherman, Bren was named one of Rolling Stone magazine’s “25 People Shaping the Future” and featured in TIME magazine’s “Best Inventions of 2017”. Bren has been profiled by 60 Minutes, CNN, The New Yorker, Wall Street Journal, National Geographic, and elsewhere. He is also an Ashoka, Castanea, and Echoing Green Climate Fellow and James Beard Award-winning author of Eat Like a Fish: My Adventures Farming the Ocean to Fight Climate Change.

Pujitha Prathipati
With two Masters degrees and eight years of experience in digital marketing, Pujitha has proved to be an asset to every organization she worked with across various industries.
She also has ardor for driving social impact. Her conscious-living blog shot to fame with over 8,000 followers, drawing attention to conscious businesses to leading initiatives for animal causes.

After meeting Alex Askew and reading BCA’s book, “Mindful Eating for the Beloved Community” I was immediately inspired to become a part of this incredible non-profit organization.
My personal mission, as a multi-hyphenated artist, has always been to use my talents, abilities, and resources to help make the world a better place.

My personal mission is to help communities achieve equity and sustainable human flourishing through leadership development and education. I believe that each of us has a divine light within, a powerful inward sun that can lead us and energize us on the path toward the good for ourselves, our loved ones, and the beloved community that surrounds us. I think of BCA as a kindred spirit in this important mission.

Valerie Spain
As a life coach, my mission is to help people wake up to who they really are beneath their conditioning to help them respond rather than react to challenges, and to cultivate and experience joy. Working with me, clients gain the clarity to safely shed habits and mindsets by learning mindfulness and body awareness practices based in brain science.

VENKAT RAMAURTHY
Venkat Ramamurthy is a seasoned executive in the Healthcare Industry with a proven track record with premier healthcare organizations. Through his career spanning twenty years, Venkat has focused on devising strategies for new and emerging products and services in the MedTech and HealthTech space. Venkat is excited about the possibilities of improving healthcare outcomes through the intersection of community building, health equity and technology.

My mission is to live a life of integrity utilizing my advocacy skills, creativity, and compassion to empower girls and women to live out their dreams.

Ron Duprat
Chef Ron Duprat is best known as one of the top competitors on Bravo TV’s “Top Chef”. Bar Rescue, Beat Bobby Flay on Food network. Duprat was featured on Many other TV shows. Huffington Post recognized him as one of 10 Black Chefs That Are Changing the Food World. The Root recognized him as “How 12 Black Chefs Cooked Their Way to the Top of the World”, Oprah magazine named Chef Duprat Recipe Her Favorite Butternut Squash and Sweet Potato Bisque.

After meeting Alex Askew and learning about Mindful Eating for the Beloved Community, he was motivated to join BCA Global. He envisions using this partnership to further his mission of promoting sustainability while supporting the organization’s impactful work.

Sriram is certified in AIGP (Artifical Intelligence Governance) with a focus on establishing AI governance and structure.

Ram has held a variety of roles at Cognizant, Fitch Ratings, Citibank, RBS, and Lloyds Bank, including positions in development, R&D, Quality assurance, Risk, and Program Management. A strong advocate for inclusion and diversity, he collaborates with various financial institutions and legal firms to share best practices.

Dr. Sitembile Sales
Dr. Sales is a graduate of Latin American School of Medicine in Havana, Cuba and trained at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn New York. Dr. Sales holds certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine for Internal Medicine.My personal mission is to help communities achieve equity and sustainable human flourishing through leadership development and education.
